Prixat studied Aeronautical Engineering at Hatfield and then moved on to IT, reading Computing and Graphics Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University, from where he graduated in 1986.

As a graduate, he was recruited by Strucom, who at the time were the sole UK agent for ANSYS, and the synonymous industry-leading structural analysis software.

Prixat started with programming data analysis routines for ANSYS but soon progressed to a more senior role. Strucom was also a distributor of AutoCAD and he was given the dual role of Systems Administrator and Technical Support Coordinator for all the Strucom offices in the UK and Ireland. In 1999 he left Strucom to specialise in what had always been his ‘calling’, that is IT design applications.

Prixat has an insatiable thirst for learning, which has been an invaluable asset in the fast-changing world of graphics applications. His forte is in new media programming, where he excels in translating our design ideas into robust and functional websites, while he ably manages our computer systems in-house. His mild nature, solid work ethic and tenacity in problem solving make him a real gem for the team.
